How to import data into existing vector layers?

CartoDruid allows you to import data directly into existing vector layers within a project, making it easier to add, update, and enrich geographic information.

The functionality supports two import options:

Importing files with their own geometry

Data can be imported from several commonly used GIS formats, including Shapefile, GeoPackage, GeoJSON, GeoCSV, SpatiaLite, and KML.

Importing using SIGPAC references

When the geometry is not available but the SIGPAC reference is known, the corresponding geometry can be obtained from a SIGPAC parcel layer previously available in the project by using a CSV file.

Important: when importing attributes from a file, the field names must exactly match the fields in the destination layer for the data to be transferred correctly.
